Pastor Ezekiel Odero of New Life Church prayed for President William Ruto and other important political figures. Shortly after claiming to have seen a terrible vision, the preacher prayed against the spirit of death. Prior to this, Ezekiel claimed to have seen the death of a prominent politician twice but was unable to contact him.

At the state house, Pastor Ezekiel defied the spirit of death while praying at his New Life Church Prayer Center in Kilifi, claiming that God had anointed Ruto. Pastor Ezekiel prayed for the safety of First Lady Rachel, the president, and their kids in a video that went viral.
“We have a president, Dr. William Samoei Ruto, thanks to you, Jesus. I condemn him, the first lady, and their kids with the spirit of death. They won’t pass away. In Jesus’ name, the spirit ought to vanish immediately. God, you chose Ruto, and he has the kingly anointing, therefore say Amen twelve times. No one is chosen by the devil. Your servant was chosen by you. At the state house, we confront the spirit of death. Pastor Ezekiel prayed, “We rebuke the spirit of death against DP Rigathi Gachagua, his spouse Dorcas, and their children.”
He prayed for the leaders of the nation’s opposition as well as the Cabinet. “We also condemn to death senators, governors, MCAs, opposition leaders, cabinet secretaries, and members of parliament. We denounce death in all 47 counties of Kenya. “That spirit needs to leave Kenya,” Ezekiel implored.
