Being a brand on its own choma fest first took place on 1st of july 2022 at kastemil gardens, kasarani.it had a number of turn up and recieved a positive response from the attendees which gave the organizers the motive to organizer the second edition.
The sensational feeling that came during the first edition of choma fest.The organizers felt it right to do a second edition that took place at greenest garden along kiambu road. Pate media and twisted vibe brought in Ajay from the drill rap group BURUKLYNBOYZ they have a couple hit songs like ‘dream ya kutoka kwa ‘block’ ‘Nairobi’ and in attendance they also had UNCOJINGJONG in the building the well know dancehall artist with hit track: wanjapi and dancehalling .
As the crowd anxiously waited for the 3rd edition that was supposed to take place on the 3rd of december 2022 at the kastemil gardens, the organizers witnessed a large number of turn up but due to unavoidable circumstances the event was pushed to date 17th of the same month but to a different location the event took place at the icon gardens which is locateed at kenyatta road along thika road.The organizers were disappointed since they didn’t deliver what they had promised to there fans .
As we await for 4th edition on the 21st of january 2023,the organizers said the perparations are on going the fans will experience new changes as they are expecting a large turn up as before.’Alafu sai we are not selling physical tickets’ one of them said,the event will take place at the das bayern grounds along kiambu road next to moran longue, since its the beginning of the year the organizers said they have more things in store fore there crowd and they thank them for the support.
