Owino Paul Ongili, also known as Babu Owino, claims that he can father 20 children in a single hour.
The humorous remark made amid claims that Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance has been taken advantage of by former president Uhuru Kenyatta has since drawn a range of responses on social media sites.
The politician asserts that Mr. Uhuru’s selection as the peace envoy to the Horn of Africa and the Great Lakes area in September 2022 shows that the retired president and his successor are ‘playing’ Raila Odinga, the former prime minister and head of the Azimio la Umoja movement.
He was appointed to the role to carry out negotiations and peaceful conflict resolution efforts in the aforementioned locations, whether there are currently any disputes present or not.
Mr. Odinga’s campaign for president last year received support from Uhuru Kenyatta.
The political union between the fourth president of the Republic of Kenya and Dr. Ruto, who was by that time the deputy president, ended after the first in command and Odinga reconciled during the March 2018 Handshake.
Babu Owino demanded that Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta resign from his post as a peace diplomat, saying that Uhuru is mature enough to continue to portray Ruto as a political ally.

Several of Mr. Odinga’s rallies in Nairobi have been used to criticize the Ruto administration.
Babu Owino’s statement about his ability to sire 20 children within an hour has elicited mixed reactions on social media platforms.
“His words have impregnated me already,” Anitah Rocliffs wrote on Facebook.
“OMG! Naweza kuona aje mheshy eiih hapo kwa kuzalisha 20 kids in one hour naona sio pabaya,” Damariz Dee hilariously commented.
“Siring 20 kids in one hour, ‘kwani wewe ni kajogoo kamtu’?” Mugo Karaguri inquired.
Babu Owino is married to Fridah Muthoni. Recently, the MP posted a photo of him and his wife on his official Twitter and Facebook pages.
“HAPPY SABBATH. Sabbath is here to relieve us of our burdens and to fill us with peace,” he wrote.
