CNN has hired international correspondent Larry Madowo for a new position. The “African Voices Changemakers” program, which will primarily highlight newsmakers throughout the continent, will now be hosted by Larry, according to the CNN website.
Larry has covered a wide range of news items globally since joining the worldwide network in 2021, including flooding in Nigeria, disparity in coronavirus vaccines, and the August 2022 elections.
The statement continued, “He has also reported from the World Economic Forum in Davos, aired from Expo 2020 in Dubai, and the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. He has also hosted news programs from Atlanta.
Larry stated the opportunity is strange while revealing his new position because he was initially featured on the show in 2017 and spoke about his work as a Kenyan journalist.
“Some news from my personal and professional life: CNN is growing my job. African Voices Changemakers’ new host is me. It’s odd to be taking over after I was featured on the show in 2017. Share your tales with me “Tweeted he.
“For me, this is a complete circle moment.”
On February 25, he will debut with a show.
African Voices has been shown on CNN for more than ten years, and the program features interviews with people who are changing the world, including athletes, artists, entertainers, and public figures.
