On February 6, 2023, the Crypro.com Arena (formerly Staples Center) in Los Angeles, California, the United States of America, hosted the 65th Annual Grammy Awards.

The Award, given to recipients by the Recording Academy to honor outstanding contributions to the music industry, is the highest honor in that sector.

Derrick Omondi Okoth, also known as D.O. Speaks, a Kenyan living in California, was one of the event winners that was broadcast around the world.

For the second time, he took home a Grammy in the Best Producer category.

‘2X Grammy Award winning Producer,’ Mr. Derrick Omondi Okoth alias D.O.Speaks, is how you should address me. My God is constantly punctual. Part of what D.O. Speaks said was, “#AllFamilyNoFriends, #AManOfAction, #ItTrackOrDie.

“Won’t he do it, God is magnificent and he is never late,” she continued. @itstrackordie, my crew is the best in the world. #Grammys 29:11 in Jeremiah.

His list of accomplishments as a Grammy-winning producer includes work on songs for A-list artists like the late Nipsey Hussle, Meek Mill, Raja Kumari, Dave East, and 2Chainz. The sixth track on the album, Felt Like Cappin’ by 2Chainz, was produced by D.O. Speaks. Lecrae’s music has also been produced by him.

A producer works with musicians to record their songs, albums, or projects and helps them realize their ideas.

One of the producers, D.O. Speaks, runs a business that creates sound for other producers. He is the CEO of Day One Audio and the Vice President of A&R (Artists and Repertoire) at Track Or Die.
