The breakfast anchor of Kiss FM, media star Kamene Goro, will depart.

In a interview  Kamene expressed reluctance to discuss her impending departure from the media organization she has called home for the past three years.

“I have nothing to add, yet once more how am I leaving news?” Kamene enquired.

She sadi, “You guys should know leaving is not a simple thing, and you should let people be.”

She pointed out that these tales frequently cause harm to the celebrities they mention in a furious tone.

A well-known person, Kamene, did not see the need to remark on the tale and hung up, declining to say anything further.

According to a source close to the celebrity, Kamene will be leaving on Friday. An similarly charismatic host has already been recruited by the firm to take over the breakfast program.

The media business is not new to Kamene. While a third-year student at the University of Nairobi, she had the chance to audition for a TV screen test.

Kamene Goro

This unexpected encounter would mark the start of her successful media career. At the fast growing media company Ebru TV, Kamene Goro was a reporter and the Prime Time news anchor.

She left the TV station in September 2015, although she later came back and became the head of news in 2017.

But she left the station in late 2017.

Following that, Kamene and the contentious Andrew Kibe began anchoring the NRG Radio breakfast show together.

On June 14, 2019, the two moved to Kiss 100 before Kibe quit and was replaced by Jalang’o.

On her show, Kamene is renowned for taking a fearless and frank approach to discussing a range of social concerns. She frequently uses her platform to spread awareness of significant social issues like women’s rights and mental health.

She has been transparent about her difficulties with mental health and has utilized her platform to spread the word about the value of self-care and mental health.
