Holy Dave, a well-known food blogger and media figure, testified before a Kibera court on the alleged attack of a businessman in a bar in October 2022.
David Kimanthi, also known as Holy Dave, was charged in October and appeared in court when his assault case was mentioned.
He has denied the accusations of assault.
He was accused of unlawfully assaulting Keem David and causing him actual bodily harm on October 1 of last year at a club in Kilimani.

According to eyewitnesses, Keem was seated with two friends in the VIP area when a third buddy from a different table decided to join them.
A guard prevented the stated friend from joining Keem’s table, and when the friend tried to intervene on his behalf, holy Dave appeared.
He is said to have been curious as to why Keem was protecting his friend from the security guard, and during the ensuing altercation, he is said to have struck Keem on the left side of the face.
His clothes were covered in blood, and the victim had a large cut on the left side of his face close to his eye.
The security personnel led Holy Dave and Keem away from the club.
After the incident was reported to the police, Holy Dave was taken into custody and accused of assault.
CCTV footage of the incident has also been recovered by police, and it will be utilized as evidence in the investigation.
Holy Dave had also told the police that night that he had been hurt on his right finger.
