A horrible avalanche happened near the Kimende escarpment in Kiambu county on Tuesday, May 14. The incident was confirmed by the Kenya Red Cross, who stated that they deployed a rescue team because they were concerned that other individuals might be trapped. A local informed PM TIMES that a number of individuals had been killed as a result of the landslide, including bystanders.
