The Kiss breakfast show will be hosted by comedian Obinna and media personality Kwambox. On Monday, Kwambox will begin working for Kiss, replacing Kamene Goro, who departed the radio station last week.
The arrival of Kwamboka, according to Radio Africa General Manager Martin Khafafa, would allow listeners to experience bigger, better, and more interesting radio.
Kwambox claimed on her Instagram page that she took a pause to refuel. Prior to this, Kwambox was employed by Homeboyz Radio and Vybez Radio.
Sheila was formerly a beauty queen as well as a Big Brother Africa housemate. After leaving the station, Kamene asserted that Kwambox is a talented individual.
“Sheila is a fantastic host, and I know she will perform admirably. I wish her the best,” Kamene said, adding that she was not surprised to learn Kwambox would take her place.
“I wasn’t surprised because a friend had told me before the leak occurred. Everything related to my departure has already been resolved, Kwambox added.
In June 2019, Kamene Goro joined Kiss FM to work on the morning show with Andrew Kibe. In June 2020, Kibe departed from the station.
Later, comedian and current Lang’ata Member of Parliament Jalang’o joined Kamene, and the two collaborated until March 2022, when Jalang’o departed to enter politics.
Kamene described how fantastic it has been hosting the show despite all the difficulties during her final day at Kiss FM.
In an attempt to dispel rumors that she had been let go by Radio Africa Group, Kamene declared, “It is that final day and today marks the last day of me on Kiss FM.”
“The business did not let me go. As I also mentioned to you, I wanted more for my life, thus there was no need for me to extend my contract with them, which ran out at the end of this month, January.
