Kenyans can finally enjoy speedier internet connection following a week or so of outage due to the failure of the underwater cables.

Safaricom apologized to customers for the slow internet that they had been experiencing for a week and insisted that it will continue to work with the impacted underwater cable providers to find a quicker solution.

We are happy to inform our customers and stakeholders that we have fully restored network capacity and stability following the undersea cable cutting that happened last Sunday and caused many service disruptions.
