Leaders of Mount Kenya are scheduled to convene at the conference center in Limuru, which is owned by the National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK), on Friday, May 17. The leaders of Mount Kenya are divided at the Limuru 3 conference, which took place a few days after Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua appealed for regional unity. Kimani Ichung’wah, the majority leader of the National Assembly, has questioned the purpose of the gathering being led by Azimio leaders in the area. Fredrick Okang’o, the secretary of Azimio Political Affairs, told PM TIMES that the Limuru 3 conference gives legislators a chance to share their opinions with the people of Mount Kenya.
