Dr. Barbra Odudu-Magoha recalled her dream on Thursday, February 9, one day after the passing of her late husband, professor George Magoha.

During the late Magoha’s funeral mass, Barbra hinted that she and her husband had a dream in which he asked her what she believed he should have done differently.

Barbra remembered the conversation and confirmed that the former education cabinet secretary had mentioned that he had done what was best for his family.

When the wife finally opened her eyes, she sighed heavily and said, “I set you free.”

“The following day, I dreamt when he pulled a sit and asked; what do you think I would have done in this situation? It was best for you and it was best for me. I woke up and stated I set you free. That is the story of George Albert Magoha,” she noted.

Barbra recalled the last two hours of Magoha’s life and said that he had four heart attacks before passing away. Within only two hours, she went from being a married to becoming a widow, she remarked.

“He wasn’t ill, and he was OK. He went shopping on January 24, 2023, to gather items for his brother’s burial. At 2:00 pm, he reported feeling chesty, so I advised him to take it easy. He requested a cough syrup around 2:30 pm, and I showed it to him “She told a story.

Magoha’s wife recalled how he called out in a tense voice, and when she arrived, she discovered him lying on the ground.

“I heard him calling me while I was ironing before leaving for work. He yelled out in a tensed voice. He was unconscious when I returned. I pushed his tongue back in so he could breathe some fresh air. He had already awakened when I called the staff members who came to help. He said at that time that he wanted to visit his son.

She reported that Professor Walter Mwanda, Magoha’s closest friend, had also arrived to take his blood pressure and to evaluate his condition.

“My son was performing surgery when I called, and he abandoned it for someone else and went to visit him. My son began placing calls when they finished talking.

“As the professor came, Magoha urged him to take his pressure before the second heart attack hit him. It was also stressful for my son when he got a third heart attack, knowing the implications of a third attack. When he had a fourth attack, he passed in a span of two hours,” she recalled.
