Following modifications to visa printing, Kenyans who want to visit the UK would have to wait a maximum of 15 working days.
On Monday, March 6, the British High Commissioner to Kenya, Jane Marriott, highlighted that visas would now be printed in Kenya during the opening of the renovated TLSContact Visa Application Center in Nairobi.
As the nation will no longer rely on the regional center in South Africa, the change is intended to end delays in visa printing.
“The decision will be made in South Africa, where we have our regional center, through the center. You will come in, submit your application, and have your biometrics taken there. You return to pick up your passport once you’ve been informed.
“Today we’re establishing these offices to make sure our Kenyan friends traveling here have a lot better experience. Now, visas will be printed in Kenya,” the woman said.
Dominique Hardy, Director for Visits and International Network at UK Visas and Immigration, reiterated her comments by urging Kenyans to take advantage of the chance and apply for UK visas.
She mentioned that Kenyans would receive a verdict on their applications via the Super Priority Visa Service one day later.
As part of our ongoing efforts to better serve our customers, we are now able to provide the Super Priority Next Day Visa service in Kenya.
She said, “I’d want to thank your business partner TLSContact for their assistance in making this possible.
Hardy is at the moment in the nation for a single day in Nairobi.
She met businesspeople, government representatives, and employees of the British High Commission while she was there.
