In the most recent dispute between the neighbors in North America, US President Donald Trump has withdrawn an invitation for Canada to join his recently established “Board of Peace. “In a message to Prime Minister Mark Carney on Truth Social, Trump said, “Please let this Letter serve to represent that the Board of Peace is withdrawing its invitation to you regarding Canada’s joining.” Carney made headlines this week when he warned of a “rupture” in the US-led international order.

Canada had stated that it would join the board even if it would not pay to do so.

Antonio Costa, the head of the European Union, stated that while European leaders are willing to cooperate with the board in Gaza, they have severe concerns about its reach.

Speaking at the Davos conference on Tuesday, French President Emmanuel Macron attracted notice for his harsh criticism of US President Donald Trump’s threat to impose tariffs on eight European nations that oppose his proposed annexation of Greenland.

However, Macron’s choice of eyeglasses also left an impression during his speech.

When speaking to world leaders at the World Economic Forum, the French leader wore eye-catching blue reflective aviator sunglasses indoors.

Although Macron did not explain the accessory’s purpose during his speech, French sources have linked it to a persistent health issue.

According to French media, Macron seemed to have a ruptured blood vessel in his eye, known as a sub-conjunctival hemorrhage.

It has no negative effects on vision and is safe and painless. It also does not cause permanent injury to the eye as it usually clears within a fortnight.

It can occasionally happen when someone rubs or pokes their eye, coughs violently, or sneezes. Those with diabetes and high blood pressure are more at risk of suffering from the condition.
