Only hours after the event that provoked indignation on social media, a driver who attacked and hurt a traffic police officer during a traffic stop in Mirema on Sunday has been taken into custody.
As part of an operation headed by the DCI for the Nairobi area, Citizen.Digital understands that the suspect, Ian Njoroge, was taken into custody on Sunday night at his residence in the Jacaranda neighborhood of Kayole, Nairobi.
Officers familiar with the case revealed that the traffic police officer was seeking medical attention for injuries he had sustained during the attack. The horrific occurrence was reported to the Kasarani police station.
